Many of our donors have made their lives much simpler by setting up automatic monthly donations to Avivara. This has two benefits: One, the donor no longer has to worry about when or whether to make a donation, it simply happens automatically, and two, it provides our programs with a more steady and stable source of income.
There are two ways to set up an automatic monthly donation to Avivara. One is through your bank's billpay system, or you may arrange for a monthly charge to your credit card through Paypal. Both methods are explained in greater detail below.

| To make a recurring monthly donation using your bank's bill paying services.
Most banks now offer automatic billpaying services to their customers. We are not large enough to have this done through an electronic funds transfer, but banks will send us a physical check automatically each month if you set up a billpay account for Avivara with your bank.
Generally, all you need to do is contact your bank and provide them with our business name and address:

| How will my donation be used?
We maintain a firm and ongoing commitment to our
donors to ensure that their contributions are used wisely and
appropriately. Therefore, we adhere to the Standards for Charitable Accountability as developed by the U.S. Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance. And, as you can see from the graph to the left, in 2011, over 91% of our expenditures went directly to our programs in Guatemala.
